Assumpta Gahutu; born on a Sunday, January 10, 1993 in Namibia. Her birth name is Assumpta Gahutu and she is currently living in Namibia known as an Instagram model.

After she dropped out of law school at the age of 20, Assumpta Gahutu decided to work in the fashion industry which she loved so much.
Assumpta: One day in discussion with my mother, she encouraged me saying; “it is you Assumpta, no one else, who thinks you have the talent.” Believe in yourself and challenge yourself to realise your dream.
Borrowing N$5 000 from my mother, soon after I made the decision to leave the university, and bought myself a one-way ticket to South Africa.
I made up my mind to make a career in the fashion industry. I felt that when the skies of faith are clear, the ground of life is Illuminated.
I began to visit South African fashion industries to accumulate much experience, fortunately I met someone who gave me the chance and presented me a plan for Instagram posting. I was offered projects that made me return to Namibia. These things happened because I had overcome all difficulties with sincere prayers.
A quote from SGI-president Ikeda; “A person of genuine courage has no ulterior motives. They are direct and honest. That’s why I am often misunderstood.
Yet regardless of how others behave, those who have done what is right-even if it means being misunderstood, looked down on or harassed-have a clear conscience. And I am one of those winners.”
Today, I have become a “Model”which once seemed an impossible dream. It was during this time that I realised that I had a desire for business and I soon started tapping into various business ventures, mostly in retail.

Everywhere in Namibia, Namibians have unforgettable memories of the various oppressive reforms of the Government and that has inspired many Namibians to start speaking out on social media for peace in Namibia.
Let’s Build Namibia!
My spiritual support came from SGI-president Ikeda’s message with the phrase: “Winter always turns to spring.”
As I have devoted myself with the challenges in front of me, I have my eyes sparkled on my bachelor’s degree so I struggled to find the right time and eventually studied my bachelor degree in Namibia at the University of Namibia. The LLB (Honours) which I obtained after a minimum study period of six years.
Building a new Namibia should start from great joy and enthusiasm, because when passion is aroused, there is no barrier that can hold it back.
Having awakened in me this powerful sense of mission, strength emerges from the depths of my being, and courage wells forth, filing my heart and inspiring to obtain my bachelor’s degree.
When you live in a country where the social education system you are born into deliberately discourages black people from pursuing their goals then something needs to be done.
Growing up in Namibia I was exposed to the uselessness of all labour unions. They are just there to enrich those in charge and Namibians were suffering, mostly at the hands of foreign businesses, yet the so-called unions never detected any wrongdoing.
When things are so much in upheaval, you end up having the sense of powerlessness and low-self esteem, but at the same time I did have the ambition to succeed and build a new Namibia.
I saw myself as someone who has success in education which is key. Being born in that kind of oppressive environment you feel like this is Namibians destiny, so we can’t change it.
So I decided to take responsibility for my situation. Battling with my own internal negative beliefs played a major part in my own human revolution.
It felt like I have two voices, one that says that; ” You are just a girl from Namibia, you should just accept your destiny because this is what you are meant to be.
On the other end, the burning desire, feeling capable of doing more was very powerful and that took me to another level to launch my very own premium denim line. AG Premium Jeans was born when I was looking for the perfect fit of jeans. The jeans are sold via Gahutu’s official website assamptagahutu.com where also sell bikinis, leggings and T-shirts.
I have been able to achieve a change in my fashion journey and gain wide recognition as a model for traditional African beauty.

In order to convey my sincere gratitude to my parents and the entire Namibia county, I have also invested in; “Babies and Todds Daycare, to foster Namibian children with good character for the practical philosophy of reforming one’s life to blossom in Namibia and its territories. I believe its universality will be validated in the future even further.

The former first lady of United States of America -Michelle Obama advance under these words: “When you’ve worked hard, and done well, and walked through that doorway of opportunity you do not slam it shut behind you, you reach back, and you give other folks the same chances that helped you succeed.”
