Owusuaa Gyimah and Her General Wellbeing
In this special edition of Aboronoma Lifestyle Magazine, we explore the inspiring journey of Owusuaa Gyimah-Addo—a woman whose unwavering commitment to the well-being of her friends, family, siblings, and customers has made a profound impact. Known for her nurturing personality and dedication to making others smile, Owusuaa embodies a rare kind of care and empathy that transforms lives.
The Power of Supporting Others
Owusuaa Gyimah-Addo:
Owusuaa Gyimah-Addo:“There’s a moment I’ll never forget—when I was drowning in personal struggles, barely holding myself together. One of those days, heavy with exhaustion, my phone rang.”
A customer’s voice filled with urgency and hope asked if she could visit Hair Senta to find the perfect hair for her wedding. We were closed. I was depleted. Yet, something stirred within me.
To support others, even when we are struggling, is the silent duty of every leader in our community. But how do we uplift another when our strength is fading? How do we give when we feel empty? I asked myself
“How can I help when I can barely help myself?”
Overwhelmed, Yet Strengthened
Life stretches us in countless directions. The weight of responsibilities can feel unbearable. But from a place of faith, challenges become opportunities—doors waiting to be opened. The more we face them head-on, the more we expand our capacity to grow, transform, and serve. supporting others, embracing the Hair Senta Mentality philosophy of peace, beauty, and happiness- becomes, in truth, the most direct path to strengthening ourselves. How does this work?
The Hair Senta Mentality: Strength Through Service
Owusuaa champions the “Hair Senta Mentality”—a philosophy centred on peace, beauty, and happiness. It is a holistic approach to personal and collective well-being.
But how does caring for others strengthen us?
A Life of Purpose and Growth
Owusuaa Gyimah-Addo: “When we care for others, when we help them awaken their inner strength our strength, something miraculous happens own life force rises. The more we uplift those around us, the more we, too, are uplifted. That is the profound beauty of the bodhisattva way—a philosophy that teaches that benefiting others is not separate from benefiting ourselves. It is the same.
Owusuaa’s approach to well-being extends beyond personal success. To Owusuaa, true wellness is about creating meaningful relationships built on mutual respect, understanding, and a deep commitment to others’ happiness. Through personal care, deep conversations, and unwavering support, Owusuaa continues to bring joy and encouragement to those around her.
Caring for Others: Our True Calling
Owusuaa Gyimah-Addo: “I strengthen my life force and expand my capacity when I live by the bodhisattva way—helping others become happy. “This philosophy is echoed in the teachings of SGI President Daisaku Ikeda, who reminds us:
> “Through taking on leadership challenges and exerting ourselves for the sake of others and peace, we transform our state of life and accumulate benefit and good fortune.”
For Owusuaa, taking responsibility is the key to inner growth and transformation. When faced with purpose, every hardship becomes a stepping stone toward greater strength.
Her mission is clear: People should not just survive—they should thrive.
Leadership, Impact, and Legacy
Owusuaa believes in leading by example. She draws inspiration from leaders like Barack Obama, who, despite his responsibilities, found creative ways to stay connected and uplift people.
“A hundred people may have a hundred different ways to support others, but the principle remains the same: true leadership is about impact.”
SGI President Daisaku Ikeda’s Encouragement
Owusuaa’s philosophy aligns with the words of SGI President Ikeda:
“What matters most is not how long we live, but the value we create, the number of people we make happy, and how much we grow as human beings.”
She focuses not on fame, but on fulfilment. Not on recognition, but on kindness.
A Research Study on Owusuaa’s Impact
A study in Assumpta & Aboronoma Lifestyle Magazine examined Owusuaa’s influence beyond her immediate circle. The findings revealed that her commitment to positivity, encouragement, and support significantly improved the well-being of her friends, family, and clients.
She has helped countless individuals achieve personal growth and happiness by fostering trust, kindness, and understanding.
A Life Well Lived: Owusuaa Gyimah-Addo is proof that success is not just about personal achievement, but about the positive difference we make in the lives of others. Through kindness, growth, and care, she inspires and uplifts everyone she meets through kindness, growth, and care.
“In seeking the hearts of my family, siblings, friends, and customers, I discovered the fearless changemaker within myself.” Today, she casts aside the identity of “timid Owusuaa” and steps fully into her true self:
Owusuaa Gyimah-Addo—the fighter, the changemaker.
Through her growth, voice, and actions, she declares: “I have a mission that is mine alone. And you, too, have a mission only you can fulfil.”
An Exclusive Interview with Berla Mundi

Owusuaa Gyimah-Addo: “Thank you, Berla! It’s an honour to be here.” I appreciate your warm introduction.
Berla-Mundi: Owusuaa’s Journey of Transformation;
“Owusuaa, you’ve described your journey as one of transformation—from a timid girl to a fearless changemaker. How did you step into this powerful version of yourself?”
Owusuaa Gyimah-Addo: “Berla, growing up, I often doubted myself. I played small, hesitant to embrace my potential. but over time, I realised that I had a mission-one that only I could fulfil. I started listening to the people around me, those who saw greatness in me before I even saw it in myself.
I learned to listen—not just to myself, but to the people who saw greatness in me before I did. By embracing my mission, I shed my fears and stepped fully into my purpose.”
“Through my growth, my voice, and my actions, I started to shed that timid identity and embrace my true self-the fighter, the mentor, the changemaker. I now live with the conviction that we are all the message we do, how we treat others, and the impact we leave behind speak louder than words.”
Entrepreneurship and Mentorship
Berla Mundi: Hair Senta is more than just a beauty brand—a movement. “You’ve built Hair Senta into a successful brand. What inspired you to enter the beauty and wellness industry, and how does your business align with your passion for empowering others? What inspired you to build it?”
Owusuaa Gyimah-Addo: “Hair Senta was born out of a deep appreciation for beauty, confidence, and self-expression. But beyond selling products, I wanted to create an experience—one where clients feel valued, confident, and cared for.” “Running a business is more than just numbers; it’s about relationships and impact. That’s why mentorship is such an integral part of my work. Whether it’s guiding young entrepreneurs, supporting my team, or advising customers, I believe that true success is measured by how many people you help along the way.”
Berla Mundi: The Book “Direction” and Personal Growth: “Your book, Direction, has been making waves. What inspired you to write it, and what message do you hope readers take away from it?”
Owusuaa Gyimah-Addo: “Direction is a reflection of my journey—both in business and life. I wrote it for anyone who has ever felt lost, uncertain, or afraid to take the next step. “The key message is this: Your path is yours alone. You may not always have all the answers, but you will find your way as long as you stay committed to growth. I want readers to feel empowered to make bold decisions, embrace challenges, and trust that they have everything within them to succeed.“
Berla Mundi: Leaving a Legacy! : “One of my favourite quotes from SGI President Daisaku Ikeda is: ‘What matters most is not how long we live, but the value we create, the number of people we make happy, and how much we grow as human beings.’ How do you hope to be remembered?”
Owusuaa Gyimah-Addo: “That quote resonates deeply with me. If I am to be remembered for anything, I want it to be for the lives I touched—for helping people believe in themselves, find their path, and pursue their dreams with courage.” “I want my legacy to be one of impact, kindness, and transformation. Because at the end of the day, success isn’t about what we gain—it’s about what we give.”
