Not Just Ghana. Does the entire Africa needs innovative solutions?
It hasn’t been talked about well, about Nana Ama Mac-Brown’s expression of moving to Onua TV, questions the innovative solution to the country.Â

Mac-Brown
I’m sure Ghanaians are now aware of the evidence which shows that equality between women and men makes us all safer, happier, more prosperous, and more successful.
Innovation has always been a foundation of my life. From acting, writing songs and now TV programs. My innovative mind has led me to these changes, progress, and hope. In today’s Ghana, which is still reeling from the crisis and looking for new, stronger, more inclusive and sustainable ways forward, policies for fostering innovation are more relevant than ever.
We all know the average Ghanaian and their living conditions which we all have gone through before.
- Some will sell ice water running after lorries
- Some wake up very early to rush to market locations, for example to sell tomatoes, onions, cooking oils, dry fish, Gari, beans bread etc.
You can clearly see the economic growth in Ghana is not uniform and well organised across the country.

The economic performance in terms of inclusion that addresses the needs of all these market women at home are weakening further and further. There might be a forgetting thinking that those small scale businesses are the most competitive arena for innovation.

Mac-Brown
That is how I see Onua TV. The drivers of my career had the knowledge to recognize my talent for innovation and brought me together with them at Onua TV.

TSASI
You mean, your success was aided by Onua TV Executives because they are all talented people who recognize your talent for innovation?

Mac-Brown
Well said, because growth at home, means having the knowledge to recognize the talent of these small scale business owners, because they are also waiting on the government for support and funding.

TSASI
Since every Ghanaian has a stake in making the economy work, then there must be a dialogue on the ills and remedies of the economy and a reform of all the institutions.

Mac-Brown
The truth is that Onua TV devoting themselves to my happiness is actually a necessary condition for becoming genuinely happy themselves.Though it might be difficult to appreciate the women who sit in the market everyday with sun bashing on them, thinking we should live them in their “mud” of our suffering.
Because we don’t see the magnificent palace in them, we cannot take the initiative to help them. But if we can imagine them as citizens who can also provide solutions for many of our concerns, then we are good to go.

TSASI
In general, the people around us reflect our state of life. Our personal preferences, for example, are mirrored in their attitudes. This is especially clear from the viewpoint of Buddhism, which elucidates the workings of cause and effect as if in a spotless mirror.
To the extent that you praise, respect, protect and care for the Ghanaians, who are all citizens of the nation, you will in turn be protected by these same people.
If, on the other hand, you are arrogant or condescending toward them, you will be scolded by them. Leaders, in particular, should be clear on this point and take it deeply to heart. Sustainability should be part of us. It is very important to us as Ghanaians that our citizens are taking good care of and under any working conditions and as environmentally friendly as possible.

Mac-Brown
We should consider all our citizens as partners and value our good long-term relationship highly.
Thank You TSASI
