The DANGOTE Oil Refinery.

If there is one thing that Africa excels at nowadays, it’s scaling good ideas to higher global levels. Promoting Africa’s economic prosperity from the perspective of humanity.
Ghanaians and Africans express their appreciation to Dangote for his huge industrial support.
AssumptaGH publications would also like to express our deep support and appreciation to DANGOTE for his generous support of the huge oil refinery lending significant, moral and economic support for the people of Nigeria. We are very encouraged by this.

AssumptaGH:
Africa has most of the best thinkers, who see and understand that social innovation is key to addressing Africans social needs. And that is the route to Africa’s long term prosperity.

TSASI:
That is a huge difference between the evil arrogant profit-minded economic enslavers, the IMF & World Bank designed to ensure that Africa would be in a perpetual state of debt and no development, and can never get out of IMF loans and Bretton Woods institution, generally because they want to ensure that they control African Politics and finances.
After many years of restricting the African Development Bank that should have been the engine of Africa’s Development they enforced their management to become shareholders with the Africa Development Bank which has almost 88 foreign shareholders, of which the second largest shareholders are America, Japan, United Kingdom, and France.
They all have shareholding just to seize, capture, and paralyse the African Development Bank for Africa’s development finances.

AssumptaGH:
That is why the gap between the rich countries and the African countries is growing larger. This has caused a lot of social tension and economic exclusion.
Today, millions of Africans in Africa don’t participate in the formal economy. As such, they don’t receive payslips, often needed when borrowing money or 1making investments, etc.
This growing number of socially and economically excluded people is a major challenge for African societies but at the same time a huge applause of opportunities for work done is the DANGOTE’s huge oil refinery to become the highest employer of chemical engineers in Nigeria.

TSASI:
The National President of Nigeria Society of Chemical Engineers (NSCh) has revealed that Dangote Oil Refining Company will be the highest employer of chemical engineers in the country when the refinery comes on stream.
The Society’s National President, Engr. Saidu A. Muhammed, disclosed this during the NSCh’s visit/tour of the Dangote Refinery and Petrochemical project at Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos at the weekend.
He commended the company for its contribution to energy security in Nigeria.
Engr. Muhammed, who led members of NSCh on a tour of the Dangote 650,000 barrels-per-day refinery project in Lagos, to mark the end of the association’s 51st-anniversary celebration, said the industries in Nigeria have not been able to absorb the over 1,000 engineers yearly from Nigerian Universities.
Muhammed stated, “We, the Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers, have keenly been watching the progress of the refinery project.
“When completed, the refinery will be the singular largest employer of chemical engineers in the country. Nigerian Universities turn out about 1,000 chemical engineers every year and the avenues for employment have been very scarce.
“The industry has not been able to fully absorb the number of chemical engineers that passed out of the universities years ago.
Some companies within the sector are not running at the optimum level. Therefore, employment is really key.

AssumptaGH:
Indeed, Nigeria has now reached maturity, while most African countries are still in their infancy. Nigerians discovered their possibilities a long time ago. What would you say if I told you that there was a country that has arguably the world’ s oldest democracy with full participation of all of its members.
It is a country where a group of people has the oldest written constitution featuring Guarantees for individuals freedom and due process in the world.
Nigeria is a country that features full participation of women in its political system, both to vote and to govern. They started doing this when Europe was in the dark ages in the 800s.
This same Nigeria has the greatest number of doctors living in the United States of America and also in the tech companies.

TSASI:
Everywhere, Nigerians are engaged in a great effort to widely discover possibilities, and yet they have been successful in providing solutions to their challenges. I think the same applies to the visionary DANGOTE, who understands what is needed for Nigerians in 100 years to come, and he was able to provide them with the huge oil refinery project.
- It is the largest single train oil refinery on the planet earth, the largest in Africa and the 7th largest in the world.
- It is capable of meeting the energy demands of both Nigeria and the entire continent of Africa.
- The refinery along with the petrochemical plant is expected to generate $20 billion yearly for Nigeria.
- The refinery will reposition Nigeria as an energy hub globally
- It has the longest subsea gas pipeline in the world with a length of 1100 km.
- The refinery will generate electricity of about 12,000 megawatts.
- It will provide 135 000 permanent jobs and overall 300,000 direct and indirect jobs.

We need to sustain and be proud of this. Nigeria has chosen the wisest solution, thinking beyond short-term solutions.

TSASI:
Having the mirror to look at ourselves and question how we are going to dress and makeup?
It like looking at things from a historical perspective and develop knowledge and wisdom of the past because we need to know from the mirror of the past if we have dressed well or thought well.
It is also about thinking democratically based on the fundamental needs of the people. The life of many African leaders who wanted the best for Africans was one of continued enormous persecution. The consequences of this are grave as it leaves holes in Africa’s economic system. Their agenda gives recognition to export Africa’s natural resources and as a key target is to export African nurses.

AssumptaGH
The SDG agenda gives recognition to Universal Health Coverage as key to achieving all other health targets. SDG 3c sets a target to “substantially increase health financing and the recruitment, development, training and retention of the health workforce in developing countries, especially in least developed countries and small island developing States.”
To this effect, WHO and its partners developed the Global Strategy on Human Resources for Health: Workforce 2030 (GSHRH) to accelerate progress towards UHC and the SDGs by ensuring equitable access to health workers within strengthened health systems. Resolution (WHA69.19) urges Member States to consolidate a core set of HRH data with annual reporting to the Global Health Observatory, as well as progressive implementation of National Health Workforce Accounts to support national policy and planning and the GSHRH’s monitoring and accountability framework.

TSASI
Eventually a doctor saved the baby’s life, but many patients are not so lucky in Africa and in other developing countries where a scarcity of doctors and trained nurses means there is often no helping hand in times of need.
“Health systems (in developing countries) are on the brink of collapse due to the lack of skilled personnel. “In some countries, deaths from preventable diseases are rising and life expectancy is dropping.
The health crisis in developing countries is, some experts say, being exacerbated by the West as countries relax stringent immigration regulations to attract doctors and nurses from less developed countries to boost their own flagging health systems while saving money on expensive training.

AssumptaGH:
In the short-term the exportation of African nurses to advance countries is a danger to the health of Africans and must be eliminated. Advanced countries must reduce their dependence on Africans Exporting their natural resources and nurses.

To eradicate bad karma or bad -actions from the past, we need to establish a life of good fortune in the future and enjoy great benefits amid the realities of daily life, we must carry out the practice of Gongyo.
Our value-creation movement, from its inception, has been ahead of the times. Through it, we have been showing that Buddhism is the fundamental approach to tap one’s creativity. It can be said that the times are catching up to what we have contended all along. We have now arrived at a stage at which we can play a major role in society.

AS long as one’s mind of faith is connected to the Gohonzon, one’s benefits will never disappear. That is why it is vital for you to persevere in your Buddhist practice throughout your whole life, no matter what, even if some days your physical condition or various other circumstances may prevent you from doing gongyo and chanting daimoku to your full satisfaction. Those who continue to challenge themselves to the end savour ultimate victory.
The realization of any prayers begins with making concrete efforts towards it fulfilment. If you believe that things will turn out the way you have prayed as long as you continue your efforts, your mind will be filled with hope, optimism and confidence that your prayers will definitely be answered. At the same time, by chanting daimoku of Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo, you will be able to see what you must do to succeed in your life, as clearly as the morning sun illuminates the earth.
WHAT is the most ordinary, yet also the most powerful driving force for peace? It is the communities. I hope we will always remember this as you challenge yourselves to advance peace.
Thank you AssumptaGH.
