The Triumph of The Dark Attractive Soul That was Abused . The very beautiful and brilliant example of Black Resilience.

Just like her beautiful ardent eyes visible to the brutalities blacks went through, and now to luminance.

Truth has the power to Unite and connect. Allow me to say that history has certainly informed our choices for our story about slave trade and the belief in our inferiority.

Janellemonae
Usually, we did know and saw the routine, to be an instrument used to fix other persons pleasure. Our tradition relates to the history and culture of people who have been oppressed.

TSASI
Indeed, Africans today are also being oppressed, and exploited. Slavery which was characterized by continual brutalization, disgrace, racial segregation, and oppression, left its mark on the African continent till today.
Till today, Africans living in the African continent were considered inferior creatures and denied the ownership of their cultural, intellectual, and ethnic values throughout the centuries under the racist doctrines of inferiority that is advanced by the World Bank and the IMF, all are Europeans and American institutions.

Janellemonae
Consciously, we have inherit this frightening destiny. What can possibly bring about the marvel of changing this destiny?

TSASI
Perhaps nothing can, except the idea that putting peace into practice is worth staking our lives on.

Janellemonae
Where can we find the soil in which to plant and nurture an absolute concept of peace?

TSASI
As things stands now, there is one thing we can do. To give confidence to ourselves that we are not inferior, not to allow this dark cloud which has obscure the doors of our future.

Janellemonae
- The narratives of what are Africans capable of ?
- Or how capable is the African, considering our relationship with the world not taking into account of our true identity.

Though the wider world owe us. They have to repay their obligation to Africa, a continent that they associated with and which they benefited from.
I can mention the many benefits Africa provided and still providing to remind us of the even greater and more profound contribution we made with our lives, our land, and culture and our people. We often fail to recognize how precious we are because of the tendency to take our lives and our land for granted.

Janellemonae
We African Americans are also confused and misled by seeing our fellow blacks persons from Africa Who only have vested interest in organizations or countries abroad to an erroneous worship of foreign countries and their culture.

TSASI
Indeed, this what we must guard against. In order to understand the world we live in and out relationship to it is that community of persons, land, and culture is what give birth to us.
The land and the community of people living on that land, in fact, gave us the very lives and started us on the path towards becoming the person we are today. In other words, we must start from that community which has given us our rootedness and personal identity which are given to us by our native cultural communities, and our homelands.

Janellemonae
Gradually I realized that the lakes, rivers, and the forest we are destroying gave birth to us and our communities. They were there for us.
Indeed, we need to emphasize on this very point. Because it gives the insight of the first basic step toward the understanding we seek. Please let return to this argument in the next newsletter. Thank you for having me.
