The Divine Imagination: A Redefinition of PowerThe Vision.
DIVINE’s Newsletter of the Month turns its gaze toward a truth long understood yet rarely articulated: that women possess divine imaginations—as inventive, resilient, and powerful as those historically attributed to men.In contemporary Ghana, a new generation watches women rise into visibility and influence and asks a fundamental question: What, truly, is women’s power? Is it found in position alone—or in the capacities forged through constraint, discipline, and vision? For decades, women have navigated social limitation and institutional imbalance. Yet through study, persistence, and creative intelligence, they have transformed unfavorable conditions into pathways of recognition and leadership.

The Return to Oneself: The Human Touch
The Alchemy of Presence
Introducing DIVINE Magazine — Eternally Endowed Beauty
Introduction
Before beauty is seen, it is felt.
Before elegance is photographed, it is embodied.
There is a rhythm within the human experience—a rhythm nature has always understood. Seasons shift. Skin changes. Light softens and intensifies. Nothing remains static.
Women are the architects of these cycles. We are the weavers of strength and stillness, the vessels of creation and incubation. We understand that to truly arrive, one must first be willing to retreat.
The First Language: A Short Story of the Return
Consider the First Breath. A newborn enters the world—a frantic, cold, and blinding landscape. The lungs gasp, the heart races in a rhythm of survival. But then, the child is laid upon the mother’s chest. Skin meets skin. In that instant, the frantic heart slows. The biological static clears. Through the mother’s touch, the child learns its first truth: I am safe. I am home. This is the original Return.

Consider the Grown Heart. A man and a woman stand in the wreckage of a long day, or perhaps a long year. Words have reached their limit; the mind is a storm of cortisol and noise. Then, a hand is placed upon a shoulder, or a cheek is cupped with quiet intention. In that contact, the armor of the world dissolves. The nervous system surrenders its weapons. Without a single word, the message is sent and received: I see you. You are here.
The Alchemy of Presence
Within these cycles lives a power rarely discussed yet profoundly ancient: The High Priestess of the Senses—Touch.

A woman’s touch is not merely an act of affection; it is an act of alchemy. It is the point where the physical meets the metaphysical. When skin is met with warmth and intention, the body does not just react—it remembers.
Modern science calls it oxytocin and the lowering of cortisol. We call it the Homecoming.
The nervous system is the body’s temple, and touch is the key to its inner sanctum. When the defenses soften, the “unseen elegance” is revealed. In that silence, the mind settles, anxiety evaporates, and the human being finally returns to themselves.
Timeless beauty is not found in the pursuit of perfection, but in the restoration of wholeness. It is the ability to turn chaos into calm, and bone into spirit.
This is the deeper aesthetic.
This is the soul’s architecture.
This is DIVINE.
Why these stories elevate the “DIVINE” brand:
- The Baby: It reminds the reader that this is a primal, biological need. It makes the magazine feel essential to life, not just a hobby.
- The Man and Woman: It shows that “Divine” beauty isn’t just for the woman herself—it is a power she wields to heal and ground those around her. It positions her as a “Regulator” of peace.
PROLOGUE : The Divine Imagination: A Redefinition of Power
The Vision
DIVINE’s Newsletter of the Month turns its gaze toward a truth long understood yet rarely articulated: that women possess divine imaginations—as inventive, resilient, and powerful as those historically attributed to men. In contemporary Ghana, a new generation watches women rise into visibility and influence and asks a fundamental question: What, truly, is women’s power?
The Architecture of Resilience
Is power found in position alone—or in the capacities forged through constraint, discipline, and vision? For decades, women have navigated social limitation, economic pressure, and institutional imbalance. Yet through study, persistence, and creative intelligence, they have transformed unfavorable conditions into pathways of recognition and leadership.
The Lived Reality
In this edition, Naana Konadu reveals this power not as an abstraction, but as a lived reality. She traces how women respond to structural challenges with imagination—how they study, adapt, build, and ultimately claim their place within society, not by permission, but by presence.
“This is not merely a story of achievement. It is a redefinition of power itself.”

THE FOUNDER’S LETTER
A Note from Naana Konadu
The question the younger generation continues to ask is both simple and profound:

What is women’s power? What is the reach of their imagination? What explains their inevitable rise within our society?
In reflecting on these questions, my hope is that every emerging generation—young women and men alike—will come to see their existence not as a burden, but as an opportunity. It is an opportunity for self-improvement, for contribution, and for a profound participation in the growth of Ghana and the world at large.
Existence, when rightly understood, is not weight—it is potential.
It is:
- The possibility of peace.
- The cultivation of value.
- The responsibility of growth and development.
When a woman becomes convinced that her presence enhances the well-being of society, she discovers something deeper than ambition or recognition. She discovers DIVINE power—the understanding that her being is purpose, her imagination is force, and her life is a contribution.
This is Eternally Endowed Beauty.
This is the true definition of Timelessness.
— Naana Konadu Creative Director & Founder, DIVINE
THE DIALOGUE: ETERNALLY ENDOWED BEAUTY

Cookieteegh Shirley: “A very warm welcome to our readers joining us from every corner of the globe. From the vibrant streets of Accra to our international community across the oceans, thank you for tuning into this special edition of Assumpta Newsletter Magazine.
It is an absolute honor to be your host today. I am Cookieteegh Shirley, TV Presenter and advocate for voices that shape our culture. Today, I am joined by a woman whose vision is redefining the very landscape of fashion and feminine power in Ghana and beyond. She is a designer, a creator, and the heartbeat behind the KONADU-00TD brand.
Please, join me in welcoming the visionary herself, Naana Konadu, to the dialogue. Naana, it is so wonderful to have you here.”

Cookieteegh Shirley: (Smiling) “Naana, I must say, seeing you today… you are breathtaking. You are the living embodiment of the work you produce. Your newsletter, DIVINE, fits you and its title extremely well—but more than that, your own beauty truly elevates the entire concept.
I’ve been sitting with your latest article, ‘The Return to Oneself: The Human Touch,’ and I have to tell you, the introduction does exactly what a high-caliber editorial should: it doesn’t just explain the title—it enacts it. It returned me to sensation before I even engaged my intellect. You’ve framed beauty as an embodied presence, not just something for visual consumption.
When I read lines like:
‘Before beauty is seen, it is felt.’
‘Before elegance is photographed, it is embodied.’
I realized those are the perfect thesis sentences. They immediately anchored me in the experience that ‘The Return to Oneself’ promises. Conceptually, this touches my heart because DIVINE positions itself as human-centered and rooted in a deep feminine intelligence that transcends trend culture.
I am particularly struck by how you’ve layered this. You’ve moved us from ‘fast-fashion time’ into ‘cosmic time’ by invoking the rhythms of seasons and skin. But most importantly, you are authorizing women—framing femininity as a biological intelligence. When you write about science, you do it without sterility; you name oxytocin and cortisol, then you transcend them by calling it a ‘Homecoming.’
Naana, your newsletter explains woman’s power and imagination in a way I have never seen before. Will you please share your insight on this vision for our readers worldwide? We want to know and recognize the female power you are inspiring us to.“
THE DIALOGUE: PART II

Naana Konadu: “Thank you, Cookieteegh, for such a generous and thoughtful welcome. And thank you to our readers across Ghana and around the world—your presence here matters more than you may realize.
When I speak of The Return to Oneself, I am speaking about remembrance. Long before beauty was commercialized, before femininity was measured by trends or timelines, the body already knew how to return home to itself. Touch, presence, intuition—these were our first languages. They still are.
Women’s power does not begin in position; it begins in regulation. It is in how we soften chaos, how we hold space, and how we transform pressure into coherence. This is not sentiment—it is intelligence. Biological, emotional, creative intelligence. It is the very kind that allows societies to survive, adapt, and evolve.
In Ghana, many women have learned this intelligence through necessity—through limited access and the heavy lifting of balancing survival with vision. What the world often calls ‘resilience,’ I see as imagination under constraint. And imagination, when nurtured, becomes power.
DIVINE was created to make that power visible—not as spectacle, but as presence. In my work, whether through writing, fashion, or form, I am not interested in decoration alone. I am interested in what happens when a woman remembers that her body is not an object, but an instrument; not a burden, but a bridge.
When a woman understands that her existence contributes to peace, value, and growth—within her home, her society, and the world—she steps into what I call Eternally Endowed Beauty. It is a beauty untouched by time, because it is rooted in wholeness rather than perfection.
This is the vision I hope to share with our readers: that returning to oneself is not a retreat. It is the most radical and creative act we can offer the world.”
THE DIALOGUE: PART III
The Architecture of Imagination

Cookieteegh Shirley: “That is a profound shift in perspective, Naana. You’ve moved us from seeing the female body as a ‘burden’ or a ‘spectacle’ to seeing it as a bridge and an instrument. It reminds me so much of the prologue for this month’s issue, which speaks about the ‘Divine Imagination’—that inventive, resilient power that has allowed women to rise into influence, not by permission, but by presence.
You describe this power as a ‘lived reality.’ As the creator behind KONADU-00TD, I want to know how this philosophy moves from your mind into your hands.
How does this ‘Divine Power’ specifically influence your design process? When you are sketching a silhouette or selecting a fabric for a Ghanaian woman who is ‘claiming her place,’ how do you weave that sense of resilience and imaginative strength into the very architecture of the garment?”
THE DIALOGUE: PART IV
The Armor of Imagination

Naana Konadu: “That is the heartbeat of my work, Cookieteegh. For me, a garment is never just fabric; it is a structural response to the world.
Take, for example, our Signature Sculpted Blazer. In the world of KONADU-00TD, the blazer represents what I call ‘Architectural Resilience.’ When I sketch the silhouette, I focus on the shoulders—not to create bulk, but to create a frame. It is designed to mimic the internal ‘scaffolding’ that women have had to build within themselves. The sharp, clean lines signify the discipline and study required to navigate social limitations, while the cinched waist celebrates the ‘incubation’ and internal power we’ve discussed. When a woman puts on that blazer, she isn’t just getting dressed; she is stepping into a physical manifestation of her own creative intelligence.
Conversely, look at our Flowing Silk Capes. Here, the power is expressed through movement. It represents the ‘Divine Imagination’—the ability to be fluid, to adapt, and to claim space without force. It’s about the ‘Unseen Elegance’—the idea that a woman can be both a soft presence and an immovable force at the same time.
In every piece of KONADU-00TD, I try to weave in this duality:
- The Structure: Representing our persistence and the ‘architecture of the soul.’
- The Grace: Representing our ability to return to ourselves, even in the midst of chaos.
Whether it’s a structured lapel or a hemline that catches the light, the goal is to remind the wearer that her existence is a contribution. She is wearing her resilience. She is wearing her power.”
THE DIALOGUE: PART V
The Targets on the Divine: Power, Regulation, and Resistance

Cookieteegh Shirley: “Naana, listening to you talk about the ‘Architectural Resilience’ of your designs makes me think about the world outside the atelier. You speak about women claiming their place, but let’s be real—don’t you think targets are being put upon us as women, specifically by those who know exactly how much power we carry?
It often feels like there is a conscious effort to keep us in a state of high cortisol—stressed, fragmented, and disconnected from ourselves. Because if we are disconnected, we cannot lead. If we are anxious, we cannot create.
I want you to really elaborate on this for our readers. When the newsletter speaks about ‘The Alchemy of Presence’ and the ‘Homecoming,’ is it suggesting that our ability to regulate—to return to ourselves—is actually our greatest weapon against those who try to diminish us? Help us understand how the ‘High Priestess of the Senses’ survives in a world that feels like it’s constantly taking aim at her.”

Naana Konadu: “That is a powerful observation, Cookieteegh, and you’ve touched on the very reason DIVINE exists.
Yes, there is a target. But the target isn’t just on our positions or our paychecks; the target is on our peace. Those who understand the ‘Divine Imagination’ of women know that when a woman is grounded, she becomes a Regulator. As the newsletter explains, a woman’s touch—her presence—is alchemy. It is the point where the physical meets the metaphysical. When we are ‘home’ in ourselves, we have the power to turn chaos into calm and bone into spirit.
Think about the stories we share in this issue:
- The Baby: The world tries to tell us that nurturing is a soft ‘hobby.’ But science and the soul know it is a primal, biological necessity. It is the first ‘Homecoming.’
- The Man and Woman: When a woman uses her touch and presence to ground those around her, she isn’t just being ‘nice.’ She is wielding a systemic power to lower cortisol and quiet the storms of those in her orbit.
The ‘Unseen Elegance’ we talk about is actually our Inner Sanctum. When the world tries to put a target on us by creating anxiety, our ‘Divine Power’ is the ability to settle the mind and settle the room.
We call it ‘The Homecoming’ because it is a return to a power that is profoundly ancient. If the nervous system is the body’s temple, then our ability to restore wholeness is the ultimate act of resistance. Timeless beauty isn’t about perfection; it’s about Restoration. By returning to ourselves, we remove the target. We become untouchable because we are no longer operating on the world’s frequency of stress—we are operating on the frequency of the Divine.”
THE DIALOGUE: CONCLUSION
The Collective Homecoming

Cookieteegh Shirley: “That is the revelation, Naana. You’ve articulated something that many feel but few can name. And we have to be honest—the reason this ‘Homecoming’ is so revolutionary is because the climate we live in, including the realities of modern racism and systemic prejudice, is still not sober. It is an intoxicated environment that seeks to keep us fragmented.
It still exists in the minds of those who truly understand women’s power and are intimidated by it. Because when we look at the world, everything we see—every innovation, every life, every structure—ultimately came from a woman’s decision, from her birth-giving capacity either physically or intellectually. Yet, tragically, so many women know so little about this inherent power.
I believe the only way to combat this misinformation and the structures that seek to diminish us is for women to come together. We must start talking about our stories, our biology, and our divine imagination. We must make the ‘unseen’ visible.”

Naana Konadu: “Exactly, Cookieteegh. Silence is where power is lost. Dialogue is where it is reclaimed.”

Cookieteegh Shirley: “Naana, thank you. This has been more than an interview; it has been a grounding experience. You have reminded us that our strength isn’t just in what we do, but in who we are when we return to ourselves.
To our readers worldwide, this is the essence of DIVINE. It is the reminder that you are the architect of your own peace.
The Return to Oneself: The Human Touch. DIVINE — Eternally Endowed Beauty.
Thank you for being part of this dialogue. Naana, it has been a true honor.”

Naana Konadu: “The honor was mine. Thank you.”
A CLOSING NOTE FROM COOKIETEEGH

“After sitting with Naana today, I am struck by a single thought: Beauty is often sold to us as a chase, but Naana has shown us it is actually a ‘Homecoming.’ In a world that benefits from our exhaustion, choosing to be whole is the most powerful decision a woman can make. I invite you to read, reflect, and most importantly, return to yourself.”
