Miss Joselyn Dumas: What Does Value Creation Mean?
Value creation is the foundation of all my work. As a Ghanaian actress, television host, and producer, I have dedicated my career to making an impact through charisma, talent, and purpose.

I gained widespread recognition for my role in A Northern Affair, which earned me a Best Actress in a Leading Role nomination at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).
Career Highlights:
✅ Hosted the popular talk show “The One Show” on Viasat 1.
✅ Starred in acclaimed films like Perfect Picture – Ten Years Later, Silver Rain, and Potato Potahto.
✅ Passionate advocate for women’s empowerment and personal development.
✅ Dedicated to philanthropy and positive social change in Ghana and beyond.
At its core, value creation is the ability to find meaning, enrich lives, and contribute to the well-being of others—regardless of circumstances.
Perhaps the most profound expression of this concept is found in the Buddhist philosophy of transforming “poison into medicine.” It is not the challenges we face but how we respond to them that defines the value we create.
The Power of Value Creation: Turning Poison into Medicine

Life’s journey is rarely a smooth one. There are moments of deep sorrow and times of immense hardship. As someone who has embraced a noble mission—bringing joy to Ghanaians through my acting talent and uplifting others through my philanthropy—I have encountered my fair share of challenges. Yet, I have come to understand that the deeper the sorrow and the greater the hardships, the more profound the joy of overcoming them.
A pivotal moment in my life was learning about Nichiren Buddhism, introduced to me by a friend. This practice teaches that we can transform poison into medicine, turning every obstacle into an opportunity for growth. As Nichiren Daishonin writes, “Misfortune will change into fortune” (WND-1, 412). With time, I have come to see the truth in these words.
Buddhism teaches that nothing in life is ever wasted. Times of adversity are not setbacks but opportunities—chances to expand our state of life and accumulate benefit. By chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo, especially in moments of difficulty, we can press forward with powerful optimism. Dwelling on misfortune changes nothing; taking action through faith transforms everything.
Life is a struggle until the very end, which is why we must cultivate a spirit of determination—to rise, to win, and to create value no matter what. Faith in the Mystic Law is a source of limitless hope and self-confidence. Even while suffering, the power of chanting can turn our environment into a place of peace and strength.
No matter the challenge, we can reshape our reality, transform negativity into wisdom, and create value from every experience. This is the essence of turning poison into medicine. Stand firm, keep moving forward, and embrace the power within you.
Owusuaa Gyimah-Addo on Value Creation:

“Simply put, value creation is the ability to find meaning, enhance one’s existence, and contribute to the well-being of others—no matter the circumstances.”
By turning adversity into opportunity, we create something uniquely powerful—a legacy of resilience and creativity that can inspire many.
The TLS Club: A Movement of Value Creation

The TLS Club (The Living Senta) embodies a value-creating philosophy—one that uplifts, empowers, and fosters an ever-expanding capacity for growth.
This philosophy transcends morality and dogma. It is flexible, inclusive, and universally applicable, enabling people from all walks of life to create value and make meaningful contributions.
Value creation is more than just a concept—it is a movement. A movement that has the power to:
✅ Reform Ghana’s education system
✅ Challenge oppressive economic structures
✅ Uplift our communities
If we truly value our people, recognize their potential, and invest in their education, we will begin rebuilding the Kingdom of God on Earth.
The Anointed Man of God: A Christian Perspective on Value Creation
In Christianity, we often lack a structured value creation philosophy that guides meaningful contributions in education, business, and society.

Value creation goes beyond profit—it is about solving problems, improving lives, and fostering innovation.
Key Aspects of Meaningful Value Creation:
1️⃣ Impact on Others – True value is created when our actions benefit others through products, services, or ideas that improve lives.
2️⃣ Purpose-Driven Work – Work aligned with a higher purpose—empowering communities, educating youth, or building faith—becomes more fulfilling and impactful.
3️⃣ Long-Term Growth – Sustainable value creation fosters lasting change, not just temporary success.
4️⃣ Empowerment & Transformation – It enables individuals and societies to reach their full potential, much like Kwame Nkrumah’s vision for self-reliance or Owusuaa Gyimah-Addo’s mission with the TLS Club.
5️⃣ Spiritual & Moral Significance – Value creation aligns with building the Kingdom of God, fostering love, service, and wisdom in faith-based contexts.
Ultimately, value creation is meaningful when it enriches lives, inspires change, and leaves a lasting legacy.
Empowering the Next Generation: The Path of Unconditional Love

True value creation is not just about personal success—it is about uplifting others, unlocking potential, and transforming communities.
This is the mission of Miss Joselyn Dumas and Owusuaa Gyimah-Addo, who actively bring their faith, knowledge, and experiences into schools to empower young minds.
Through initiatives like the TLS Club and Joselyn Dumas’ school outreach, they inspire students to embrace self-discovery, leadership, and purpose.
The Power of Faith and Community Engagement

Miss Joselyn and Owusuaa Gyimah-Addo do not confine their faith to church walls—they live it through action, community-building, and education.
By sharing their philosophy and experiences, they shape the next generation through wisdom, empowerment, and self-reliance.
Anointed Man of God: Faith in Action:

“As Christians, we must see the Scriptures not as the end, but the beginning. God’s Word must inspire real action—not only in our churches but also in our schools, workplaces, and communities.”
Creating Lasting Value in Society
By living their faith through action, education, and service, they fulfill the true calling of faith—to inspire, uplift, and create real change.
Their commitment to nurturing wisdom and purpose in young minds is a testament to the power of unconditional love—the foundation of all meaningful value creation.
Building the Kingdom of God: A Holistic Approach

Do we need a survival instinct, the grace of God, the philosophy of value creation, or a strong mind to build the Kingdom of God on earth—or do all these elements work together?
The answer is clear: we need them all.
1️⃣ Survival Instinct – Ensures we endure, adapt, and persist through challenges.
2️⃣ The Grace of God – Provides wisdom, strength, and favor beyond human limitations.
3️⃣ The Philosophy of Value Creation – Drives innovation, resilience, and meaningful impact.
4️⃣ A Strong Mind – Builds mental resilience, discipline, and clarity of thought.
The Balance of All Four:
✅ Survive the trials.
✅ Rely on God’s grace for direction and strength.
✅ Create value by transforming lives and communities.
✅ Cultivate a strong mind to sustain faith, vision, and purpose.
The journey continues. The impact grows. The Kingdom of God remains ours to build.

A Conversation on Value Creation: Rebuilding the Kingdom of God
An Honest, Courageous, and Thought-Provoking Dialogue Between Three Visionaries
Featuring:
- Miss Joselyn Dumas – Actress, TV Host, Advocate for Value Creation, and Deputy Director for Diaspora Affairs
- The Anointed Man of God – Spiritual Leader and Thinker
- Owusuaa Gyimah-Addo – Author, Entrepreneur, and Founder of the TLS Club

The Beginning: A Meeting of Minds and Hearts
Miss Joselyn Dumas: Good evening, my dear friends. It is a rare and sacred thing when three people can sit together—not just to speak, but to truly listen, to reflect, to challenge one another with love. Tonight, we are not just talking for ourselves. We are talking for our children, our communities, our continent, and, if God wills it, for the world. I am honored to share this space with you.

The Anointed Man of God: Peace be with you, Joselyn, and with you as well, my sister Owusuaa. Conversations like these are urgent. We live in a time where we are drowning in information but starved of wisdom. People seek success, but they do not ask what kind of success builds the Kingdom of God. Tonight, we ask. We reflect. We plant seeds.

Owusuaa Gyimah-Addo: And what a privilege that is! To be African. To be alive at this time. To be aware that we stand at a crossroads—where we can either build a society rooted in love, courage, and compassion, or we can continue on a path of survival without meaning. The world is watching us, but more importantly, God is watching us. We have a duty.

Miss Joselyn Dumas: That word—duty. It is so powerful. I have thought about it often. We speak about success, legacy, and even faith, but at the core of all these things is duty. Our duty to create value. Not just for ourselves, but for the world around us. But I ask you both—what does value creation truly mean?
Defining Value Creation: A Philosophy for a New World

The Anointed Man of God: Value creation is often misunderstood. Many believe it is about wealth, influence, or even power. But in the eyes of God, value creation is about impact. It is about taking what you have been given—your talents, your experiences, your struggles—and transforming them into something that serves others. It is the difference between existing and living with purpose.

Owusuaa Gyimah-Addo: I couldn’t agree more. For so long, I thought value creation was about personal achievement. But then… life happened. The storm came. And I realized something: true value is created amid adversity. It is easy to give when you have abundance, but to give when you are broken? That is divine. That is what led me to create the TLS Club. Not from a place of ease, but from a place of pain transformed into purpose.

Miss Joselyn Dumas: That is powerful. And it speaks to something I have wrestled with as well. As an actress and television host, my platform gave me visibility, but it was empty without purpose. When I began to use my voice for empowerment—when I began to create spaces for real conversations, for change—that was when I truly felt I was creating value.
The TLS Club: Unlocking True Potential in Young People

The Anointed Man of God: Owusuaa, you mentioned the TLS Club. I have seen its impact, but I want to hear it from you—why has it become such a force for value creation?

Owusuaa Gyimah-Addo: (a smile spreading across her face, the light of purpose shining in her eyes) The TLS Club—The Leading Senta—was not born out of ambition, but out of necessity. I saw too many young people trapped. Trapped in systems that do not nurture them. Trapped in environments that stifle their dreams. Trapped in self-doubt.
At TLS, we teach them how to break free. How to discover their gifts. How to transform their struggles into strengths.
We do not just teach them to survive—we teach them to create. To lead. To innovate.
We believe that every young person carries something unique within them, but without the right guidance, those gifts can remain hidden forever. The TLS Club is that guidance. It is the space where potential is unlocked.

Miss Joselyn Dumas: That is exactly the kind of value creation we need. Not just giving handouts, but empowering young people to create their own opportunities.

The Anointed Man of God: (his voice full of admiration) And that, my sisters, is the work of God. This is how we build the Kingdom—not by waiting for change, but by creating it.
The Kingdom of God: A Society of Love, Courage, and Compassion

Miss Joselyn Dumas: (leaning in, her tone thoughtful but firm) And yet, despite knowing this, we still struggle. We live in a society that rewards selfishness. That celebrates greed. That teaches people to protect themselves rather than uplift others. So I ask you both—how do we begin? How do we move from theory to action?

Owusuaa Gyimah-Addo: (pausing before answering, her voice layered with emotion) We begin with truth. We must first acknowledge where we are as a people. We must admit that we have been conditioned to see life as a competition rather than a community. We must unlearn the belief that we must succeed alone. The first step in building a loving, compassionate, and courageous society is to teach people that their value is not diminished when they lift others.

The Anointed Man of God: (his hands clasped together, his tone solemn but hopeful) And we must lead by example. Too many leaders preach sacrifice but live in excess. Too many call for love but sow division. If we are to build the Kingdom of God, we must be willing to be uncomfortable. To put service above status. To become the change we speak of.

Miss Joselyn Dumas: It’s a high calling. But it is the only path forward.
Value Creation Through Service and Leadership
And this is why I see the role I now hold in government as more than just a position. It is a continuation of my life’s work. Being appointed as the Deputy Director for Diaspora Affairs is not just about policy; it is about service. It is about connecting Ghana to its diaspora community—not just to strengthen ties but to empower them to contribute to our national development.
This role allows me to facilitate investment from the diaspora, encourage cultural exchange, and create programs that address the real needs of both those living abroad and back home. It is about building bridges. It is about showing the world that our value is not confined to borders.
I’ve faced difficult moments, where it seemed like I had no control over the direction I was going. But every challenge has been a lesson in value creation. From the television screens where I reached millions to now, where I work with people in the diaspora, I’ve learned one thing: the Kingdom of God isn’t just built through grand speeches. It is built through consistent, everyday actions—through policies that serve the greater good and through interactions that show love and compassion.
This work of connecting Ghana with its people around the world, strengthening cultural and economic ties, is just another avenue of fulfilling our duty to create value. True value is the collective effort of every individual working for the greater good, lifting others as they rise.
Final Thoughts: A Challenge to the World
🌟 The journey continues. The impact grows. The Kingdom of God remains ours to build. 🌟
