(4) WHAT ABOUT Africa?
Flowers bloom as part of their reproductive process. Blooming attracts pollinators like bees, butterflies, and birds, which help carry pollen from one flower to another, enabling the plants to reproduce and produce seeds. In this way, blooming plays a crucial role in the life cycle of flowering plants.

In a similar way to flowers blooming to continue their life cycle, a country facing poverty and hardship must find ways to overcome its challenges in order to thrive and progress. Just as flowers need external factors like pollinators to help them reproduce, countries in poverty may require external assistance, support from other nations, organisations, or individuals to address their issues and improve their situation. By working together and utilising available resources effectively, a struggling country can gradually overcome poverty and misery, much like how flowers bloom and flourish with the right conditions and support.

It’s interesting to observe how different nations pursue their economic ambitions and strategies. Each country utilises its unique strengths and resources to carve a path toward global influence. It’s a diverse and dynamic world out there!
Africa, with its vast and diverse resources, has the potential to achieve global influence through a variety of avenues. While challenges such as poverty and hunger persist, Africa’s ambitions and strategies could include harnessing its rich natural resources, promoting sustainable development, and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. By investing in education, technology, and infrastructure, as well as strengthening regional cooperation, African nations can aspire to carve out their unique path to global prominence, contributing to the world in their own impactful way.

ASSUMPTA:
Africa, a pristine continent, has unfortunately been subjected to misery and underdevelopment.

TSASIS:
Your statement “Africa, a pristine continent that has been subjected to misery and undevelopment,” highlights the paradoxical nature of Africa’s vast natural beauty and resources contrasted with historical and contemporary challenges. Despite its rich landscapes and diverse cultures, Africa has faced a complex history of colonisation, exploitation, and underdevelopment, leading to issues like poverty, political instability, and inadequate infrastructure. This narrative underscores the need for sustainable development, equitable policies, and global cooperation to unlock Africa’s potential and address its longstanding challenges.

These countries’ development is a testament to a human rights struggle led by the people, for the people. It has been characterised by extending a helping hand to citizens and lifting many out of poverty.

TSASIS:
It’s incredible to hear about such inspiring progress in the realm of human rights and development. It truly reflects the resilience and determination of the people in those countries. Extending a helping hand and uplifting citizens from poverty demonstrates a deep commitment to the well-being of the community. May this positive momentum continue to bring about meaningful change for generations to come. “Many African leaders have shared Africans’ sufferings to help them rise together from poverty. Desiring neither fame nor status, Kwame Nkrumah strives with selfless love for Africans, for the benefit of all. He was born, raised, and lived in the muddy pond of this challenging African continent but holds a beautiful, pristine ideal above it.”

ASSUMPTA:
It sounds like a powerful tribute to Kwame Nkrumah, the Ghanaian nationalist and Pan-Africanist. His dedication to the upliftment of Africa and its people is truly inspiring. The imagery of being born in the muddy pond of Africa yet holding a beautiful, pristine ideal above it conveys a deep sense of hope and purpose. Kwame Nkrumah’s selfless love for Africans reflects a noble spirit of unity and progress
I hope African leaders of today will inherit Kwame Nkrumah’s commitment and continue to send a great tide of love for Africans around the continent.

ASSUMPTA:

“Valuing the African people is the basis of democracy, in my opinion, and without respect for human rights, democracy will crumble.”

TSASI:
It’s important to value and respect the rights of all people, regardless of where they are from. Upholding human rights is essential for fostering a strong and just society, and democracy thrives when it is built upon the foundation of respect for all individuals.

ASSUMPTA :
“Human Rights Day also symbolises dignity, freedom, justice, and independence for all. Every year, African countries commemorate Independence Day to honour the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, a pivotal moment following the struggles for independence. Representatives from diverse legal and cultural backgrounds worldwide convened at the United Nations to establish a comprehensive framework ensuring the universal protection of human rights across all nations, serving as a reminder of our inherent rights.”

TSASI:
Human rights are very important, and it’s great that African countries celebrate their Independence Day to mark the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It’s a reminder of the dignity, freedom, and justice that everyone deserves. The efforts of representatives from all over the world to establish these rights highlight the unity and shared values of humanity. It’s important for all to remember and protect these rights.

ASSUMPTA:
In the small country of Verdonia, the government formed “The Partnership From Hell” with foreign investors, where elites colluded to exploit the nation’s resources for personal gain. As forests were stripped and minerals plundered, roads remained neglected, leaving citizens isolated and impoverished. The once vibrant land now echoed with the cries of a nation betrayed by its own leaders in the pursuit of greed.
” Confronting Wolves Dressed in Sheep’s Clothing “

TSASIS:
In any event, whether our leaders too were immensely involved in plundering our natural resources then they are our natural enemy. Africans’ worst enemy is not China or the West or Russia. It’s those shady corrupt ruling elites that are right under our nose yet lurking in the shadows.
Every African country has a small group of powerful people who are loaded with wealth and privilege, while the rest of us struggle, pulling the strings behind the scenes. They own the media, control the Government and can straight up cripple a whole nation.

ASSUMPTA:
Indeed, just look at Congo’s roads, only 6% are paved. Or Sudan the corrupt ruling elites are sacrificing Sudanese citizens on the altar of greed. They are in cahoots with their foreign masters who are pulling some strings.
Even when such foreign powers exploit Africa they do it hand and hand with the African corrupt elites. It’s a partnership from hell. But don’t ever forget that we the African people are the real lions here. It’s time for us to roar and take back our immense wealth, our bright future, our incredible resources from these Hyena elites that are feasting greedily on our hard work. That must stop.
“We Should Shift Our Perspective and Dare to Look at Africa’s Innovation and Investment Model.
TSASI:
Your speech in today’s final scene of our dialogue shines with brilliance as impressive today as then. In it, you have declared our Knowledge that has made us fools. We are not clever and unkind. I hope our leaders will fulfil their respective vows . Thank you for joining today’s dialogue.
