INTRODUCTION (2)
Joselyn Dumas, featured in ASSUMPTA weekly magazine title: ‘Always with Joselyn’ to introduce her students to important Gosho passages, which we will learn to apply in our lives.
The Children who once ran with ignorance have become “Heroes of the World” after they have read and studied the Gosho and learned the correct attitude and behaviour needed to practise Nichiren Daishonin’s Buddhism.

In defense at his trial, the philosopher Socrates proclaimed that, no matter how many times he might be killed, he would never stop contemplating justice.

As a result of jealousy and slander among his accusers, he was given the death penalty. However, his justice was later proven to the world by his disciple Plato.

Realizing the vision of our mentor Kwame Nkrumah, herein lies my mission as an actress and a teacher. No. malicious slander can ever overshadow the clear skies in the hearts of my noble spirited heroes.
Miss Joselyn opened the door of her classroom, holding a football in her hands. It was eight thirty: o’clock on the dot, and the whole class was happy, thanking Miss Joselyn for coming, feeling joyful and smiling on their faces.

Above all, Miss Joselyn spent two minutes capturing the attention of her students with the football before she even started to tell the story of “Using Their Abilities To Make Others Happy”.
A smile chased over the students faces, as Miss Joselyn started: ” Using Our Abilities To Make the People of the World Happy.”
“From the beginning, I pursued my studies because I wanted to master Buddhism and attain Buddhahood, and also to save the people to whom I am indebted. ( Banishment to Sado; WND-1, 202)
At one point a girl ask; What was Nichiren Daishonin’s era like?
Miss Joselyn took a deep breath. ‘It doesn’t look the same anymore; Nichiren Daishonin was born in the 13th century. In Japanese history, this era is called the Kamakura period.

Nichiren Daishonin was born on February 16, 1222, in a small fishing village on the Pacific side of the Boso Peninsula in Chiba Prefecture.
In those days, fishermen ranked low in Japanese society. However, the Daishonin, throughout his life, took pride in the fact that he was born in a fisherman’s family.
Adjeley thought and asked; I have a question. When Nichiren Daishonin was young, with what kind of attitude and determination did he study?
I hope you will want to know more about this, said Miss Joselyn. She glanced at Adjeley and said; The keyword is “gratitude.”
Nichiren Daishonin, from childhood, grew up watching his parents and others around him working hard together, in unity. Seeing this, he started thinking about how he could help people become happy-those around him including his parents, people to whom he was indebted, as well as people in society.
It was then that he made a deep determination to become the kind of fine person “to save the people to whom he was indebted.”
He was determined to become a strong person who could ease everyone’s worries and help them become secure. Thus, the Daishonin kept advancing along the path he believed in, never getting defeated, not even in the most difficult of times.
That is why I am encouraging you as future generation Ghanaians by telling you, “You are the successors to whom I entrust the next 50 years of kosen-rufu!”
Miss Joselyn saw Kofi’s hand flip into the air; what is Kosen-Rufu? He asked.
Kosen-rufu means to build a peaceful society by making all people happy through spreading this Buddhist teaching.
You are studying not just for yourself. There are many people who are looking forward to seeing you grow. Therefore, you should do your best to study and contribute positively to your country Ghana.

From the beginning, I pursued my studies as a lawyer, indeed to development of justice policies, that begin of course, with the criminal prosecution of the perpetrators. The same faith of bringing joy to the people of my country makes it possible for me to achieve my dream as actress and I begun performing to bring joy to my people.
I wanted all of you in this classroom to master chanting Nam-Myoho-Renge-Kyo and attain Buddhahood, and also to save the people of Ghana and the environment which you are indebted.
At this point; “Everyone is Looking Forward to Seeing You Grow,” will be the next lesson on Thursday 26 January 2023. Episode (3) Thank you everyone.
