ONWARD SPECIAL FEATURE
1. The Hidden War: Why the British Empire Fears Trump More Than Nuclear War
Why would the British establishment risk nuclear annihilation itself just to stop one man?
Most headlines say Ukraine’s latest drone attacks are about defeating Russia. Bombers hit, bridges destroyed, villages burned. But Assumpta Weekly dug deeper—and what we uncovered is far more dangerous, far more revealing.
Because the real target isn’t Moscow. It’s Washington. And more specifically, it’s the man in the White House who is determined to finish the unfinished revolution of 1776. The British Empire never truly ended—it only changed tactics. And right now, the empire is so terrified of Donald Trump’s return that it is willing to risk everything—including World War III—to stop him.
Giorgia Meloni Speaks Out

“I am Giorgia Meloni. I have been fighting this system my entire life. At fifteen, I entered politics determined to defend Italy’s sovereignty. Over the years, I discovered a hidden hand behind our struggles—the same hand directing the takedown of nations across Europe and Africa, the manipulation of intelligence agencies, the sabotage of economies.
It was always the same system: an empire without borders, led from London. And I can tell you this: what is happening now is different. Donald Trump is not simply challenging policies. He is threatening to dismantle the entire imperial system. If you understand that—and if you help—he will succeed.”
2. Why Are the British So Desperate to Stop Trump?
History gives the answer. Since 1776, the British establishment has feared a sovereign America—an America free from London’s financial grip.

Trump’s return threatens to sever the “special relationship” that allows British influence to linger in Washington. His America First agenda undermines NATO’s endless wars, questions the City of London’s dominance in global finance, and rejects the cultural engineering that keeps nations divided and weak. For the empire, Trump is not just another politician. He is an existential threat.
3. What His Economic Revolution Really Means
Trump’s vision is not merely tax cuts or tariffs. It revives the Hamiltonian tradition of national credit, infrastructure, and industrial growth—policies rooted in the original American Revolution. This means breaking the grip of central banks, rebuilding manufacturing, and restoring prosperity for working families.
But for the British system—built on speculation, debt, and financial manipulation—this is nothing short of a revolution. A successful Trump economy would inspire nations worldwide, from Italy to Africa, to break free from London’s control.
4. How America Can Finally Complete the Revolution of 1776
The war of independence was never fully won. The empire adapted, embedding itself into the financial and intelligence networks that still shape American policy today. But Trump’s movement—if victorious—represents the chance to finish what Washington, Jefferson, and Hamilton began: a sovereign republic, allied with free nations, unchained from the dictates of empire.
This is why the establishment is so desperate.
This is why they are willing to risk nuclear war.
Because if Trump succeeds, the British system collapses—and the world will never be the same. Our children will be free—just as Russian and Chinese children are free of taxes and healthcare bills.
Operation Spider Web
📅 June 1st, 2025 – Ukraine launched Operation Spider Web: a wave of drone strikes deep inside Russian territory. Bombers, railroads, even villages were hit. Seven people were killed.
George Beebe, former CIA director of Russian analysis, warned these attacks crossed Russia’s nuclear red lines. They struck at the very heart of Russia’s nuclear triad—targets that under Moscow’s doctrine could justify retaliation.
Then came the chilling admission: “The Ukrainians’ target audience for this operation was here in Washington, not in Russia.” Think about that. Ukraine risked triggering nuclear war not to defeat Moscow—but to corner Trump politically, to make peace negotiations impossible. One misstep. One retaliatory strike. One empire’s gamble—and the world could burn.
The Choice Ahead
The empire is betting humanity’s future on its survival. But history is clear: empires always fall. The only question is whether we—the citizens of sovereign nations—will rise in time to finish the revolution of liberty and independence that began in 1776. The revolution is not history. It is our task.
When Great Evil Occurs, Great Good Follows
Nichiren Daishonin wrote in On Reprimanding Hachiman: Our faith is anchored in the conviction that “when great evil occurs, great good follows” (WND-1, 1119). The Lotus Sutra guarantees that “winter always turns to spring” (WND-1, 536).

“When great evil occurs, great good follows.” This principle teaches that the darkest moments of history contain the seed of renewal, transformation, and awakening. When obstacles, confusion, or corruption appear, they are signs that great change is at hand—that truth and justice are about to break through.
The turmoil of our age—the nuclear brinkmanship, the sabotage of nations, and the desperate attempts to crush sovereignty—can be read through this lens. Far from being meaningless chaos, these crises are omens of an imminent turning point.
Great Evil and Great Good – Resolve and Take Action to Transform Great Evil into Great Good
Great events never have minor omens. When great evil occurs, great good follows. Since great slander already exists in our land, the great correct Law will spread without fail. What could any of you have to lament? Even if you are not the Venerable Mahakashyapa, you should all perform a dance. Even if you are not Shariputra, you should leap up and dance. When Bodhisattva Superior Practices emerged from the earth, did he not emerge dancing? And when Bodhisattva Universal Worthy arrived, the ground shook in six different ways.
(Passage from “Great Evil and Great Good”, The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin, p1,119)
Background
Neither its date nor its recipient is known about this letter. Judging from the content, it may have been sent to some of Nichiren Daishonin’s believers who were facing difficulties on account of their faith.
Explanation
With the assurance, “When great evil occurs, great good follows”, Nichiren Daishonin encouraged his disciples to regard the hostility they faced as an omen of great good, i.e., the eventual spreading of the correct teaching.
But one crucial point to note here is that, “omen” here does no mean that great good automatically comes after great evil; it means that, by regarding difficulties as opportunities and possessing the firm resolve to take courageous action to transform them into springboards for growth, we can realize great good.
For this reason, the Daishonin said, “What could any of you have to lament?” If one is absolutely convinced that great good will follow great evil, one should rejoice when difficulties arise, instead of lamenting about it.
The Daishonin urged us to rejoice like the Bodhisattvas of the Earth. In the Lotus Sutra, it is stated that countless number of Bodhisattvas of the Earth danced with joy as they emerged from the earth. Bodhisattvas of the Earth are bodhisattvas who have been entrusted with the mission to propagate the teachings of the Mystic Law in the Latter Day of the Law. Their lives are one with the Mystic Law and represent the life entity of joy. Nichiren Daishonin taught that we should bravely confront adversities with great joy based on a firm sense of mission that we are Bodhisattvas of the Earth entrusted with the mission to propagate the Mystic Law.
SGI President Ikeda said in his guidance, “Faith in the Daishonin’s Buddhism enables us to change poison into medicine, no matter what the circumstances. It is precisely when some terrible misfortune or catastrophe occurs that we are presented with an opportunity to receive tremendous benefit – or, in the Daishonin’s words, that ‘great good follows’ (WND, 1,119)… The lion king brings forth the greatest strength when the situation is most dire.”
In most part of the world, from Africa, to the middle east, It is so easy for us see how people from Sudan, DRC-Congo, Palestinians and the entire Gulf region feel helpless, lose hope and aee defeated amidst present turbulent global conditions where humankind is constantly plagued by war, hunger, fear and insecurity arising from terrorism, natural calamities such as tsunamis, typhoons and earthquakes, diseases such as Sars, bird flu and rising social problems such as aging population, juvenile crimes and growing indifference towards others, or economic uncertainty like the current EU crisis.
However, based on the conviction of this Gosho passage, let us strive to lead our friends and family towards happiness and the world towards peace, transforming great evil into great good based on single-minded prayers, undaunted determination and courageous actions.
The Empire’s Desperation
Most commentators tell us Ukraine’s drone strikes are about defeating Russia. But the deeper truth is this: the real target is Washington—and more specifically, Donald Trump. Why such fear? Because Trump threatens to complete what began in 1776: the breaking of empire’s grip.
For the British establishment, this represents “great evil.” But seen through Nichiren’s principle, it signals the possibility of great good: the chance for nations to reclaim independence and for humanity to chart a new course toward justice.
Was Trump the Better Option?
Before we reduce this to left or right, we must look deeper. From a spiritual perspective, Trump is not merely a politician—he is a mirror. His chaos forces America, and the world, to confront its own corruption, arrogance, and blind spots. In this sense, Trump is the embodiment of “great evil”—not in the moral sense alone. He is the disruption, the shaking awake, the catalyst for transformation.
Without that shock, the corruption of the empire might have remained hidden. With it, people are forced to choose: will we remain slaves to old systems, or will we rise to a higher consciousness?
The Deeper Choice
Nichiren taught that disciples should not despair at obstacles, but should rejoice—because persecution is proof that truth is spreading. In the same way, today’s global crisis may not be the end, but the beginning.
Trump’s movement could be the path to finishing the unfinished revolution of 1776. Or, even more profoundly, it may be the trigger for humanity to awaken to its spiritual task: to unite sovereignty with compassion, independence with enlightenment.
Empires always fall. The only question is whether we will rise in time.
When great evil occurs, great good follows.
The shadow of the empire is long—but the dawn is breaking.

Inside This Edition
Hosted by two powerful voices:
- Dzigbordi Kwaku-Dosoo – humanitarian and change-maker.
- Giorgia Meloni – Italy’s Prime Minister, who will guide us through her confrontation with empire, fear, and the hidden game of shadows.

Serwaa Amihere (turning to Giorgia Meloni):
“So let me ask you, Prime Minister Meloni: In a world where imperial powers—especially the British Empire—prioritize market imperatives over human dignity, creating a world so confused that even helping a neighbor can feel like a risk… in such a climate where courage seems absent, what is your personal takeaway? What lesson do you draw from this reality?”

Giorgia Meloni (Guest):
“Thank you, Serwaa, and thank you to La Amore Newsletter Magazine for this courageous platform.
You ask about courage in a time when the world seems to have lost its way. The truth is, as doctors and midwives bring life into the world, we never expect our neighbors—or empires—to so easily destroy it. Yet, in the shadows of war, one woman stood against the monsters.
That woman, I humbly accept, has often been me—not because I am stronger or braver than others, but because I could not turn away. I was placed in a position where silence meant complicity, and so I chose to speak, even when the cost was great.
For me, the lesson is simple but profound: when power abandons humanity, it falls to individuals—ordinary and extraordinary alike—to remember what is sacred. Sovereignty, dignity, and the right of nations to exist without subjugation are not bargaining chips for empires. They are the foundation of human freedom.
And now, in this breathtaking edition of La Amore, together we uncover the truth they never wanted you to know: that courage still exists, that sovereignty still matters, and that even in the darkest shadows, light can break through.”

Dzigbordi Kwaku-Dosoo (Host):
“Prime Minister Meloni, I want to pause and honor the depth of what you’ve just shared. Your words remind us that leadership is not simply about power, but about the willingness to stand when others have chosen silence.
In Africa, we understand this struggle intimately. Our nations, too, have lived under the shadow of empire—where decisions about our future were made in distant capitals, and where the fight for sovereignty was often met with resistance, sabotage, or even bloodshed.
When you speak about standing against the monsters in the shadows, it echoes our history. It reminds us of leaders who chose to rise when colonial forces tried to reduce our nations to markets, our people to labor, and our cultures to memories.
And yet, as you say, courage still exists. In Ghana, in Italy, in America, and beyond, there is a new awakening. Leaders, thinkers, and ordinary citizens are beginning to see that sovereignty is not a relic of the past—it is the essence of our future.
Prime Minister, your stand has become more than ItaliIran . It is human. It resonates across borders because it challenges all of us to ask: What will we protect when the empire demands our silence? What will we build when fear tells us to bow? DaThis is why La Amore chose this moment, and this conversation, to bring to the world. Because as you so powerfully put it, even in the darkest shadows, light can break through.”

Serwaa Amihere (Host):
“Prime Minister, your courage is clear. But for many of our readers, the deeper question remains—why would the world’s oldest empire risk so much, even nuclear annihilation, to stop one man? This brings us to our ONWARD Special Feature.”

His America First agenda undermines NATO’s endless wars, questions the City of London’s dominance in global finance, and rejects the cultural engineering that keeps nations divided and weak. For the empire, Trump is not just another politician. He is an existential threat.

Dzigbordi Kwaku-Dosoo (Host):
“Prime Minister Meloni, your words strike a powerful chord. When you speak of a hidden hand—an empire without borders, led from London—it echoes deeply in Africa.
We too have seen how economic sabotage, intelligence manipulation, and political interference have been used to keep our nations divided and dependent. From the colonial era to the present, Africa has often been treated as a chessboard where empires move their pieces without regard for our people.
Your testimony reminds us that this is not just Italy’s struggle, not just America’s struggle—it is humanity’s struggle. Because the very same forces that fear Trump’s challenge to the empire also fear Africa rising with sovereignty, industry, and dignity.
So I want to ask you, Prime Minister: in this battle you describe, where Trump is seen as an existential threat to the empire, what lesson should Africa take? How do we align our struggle for independence with this wider confrontation you have revealed?”

Giorgia Meloni (Guest):
“Dzigbordi, your question goes to the heart of the matter. Africa’s story is not separate from Europe’s or America’s—it is part of the same struggle against empire.
For centuries, Africa’s resources, leaders, and people were targeted by imperial systems that pretended to bring civilization, but in truth brought only exploitation and division. And today, those systems have not disappeared. They have adapted—through debt, through financial institutions, through cultural and political manipulation.
But here is the lesson I have learned: sovereignty is not given, it is taken. It is protected by leaders and peoples who refuse to surrender their right to self-determination.
When I look at Africa, I see the same spirit that drives my own fight in Italy. Nations rising to reclaim industry, to protect culture, to invest in their young people, to resist the pressure of foreign dictates. That is why the empire fears not only Trump, but also Africa’s awakening.
If Africa aligns its struggle with the wider confrontation against empire—if it insists on sovereignty in finance, in culture, in security—then it will not stand alone. A world is emerging where free nations can cooperate without chains. The empire’s greatest weapon is to divide us. But our greatest strength will be to stand together.”

Serwaa Amihere (Host):
“Prime Minister Meloni, building on what you’ve just shared, let’s go deeper into America’s context. The war of independence, as you note, was never fully won. The empire adapted, embedding itself into financial and intelligence networks that still shape American policy today.
So let me ask you: How can America finally complete the revolution of 1776? How does Trump’s movement fit into this unfinished task, and why is the establishment so desperate—even willing to risk nuclear war—to stop it?”
Giorgia Meloni (Guest):
“Serwaa, the revolution of 1776 was never truly completed. The empire adapted, and the networks of power—financial, political, intelligence—remained in place.
Trump’s movement represents an unprecedented opportunity to finish what Washington, Jefferson, and Hamilton began: a sovereign republic, allied with free nations, unchained from the dictates of empire.
This is why the establishment reacts with such fear. They see the possibility of dismantling centuries of control. If Trump succeeds, the British system collapses—and the world will never be the same.
Recent events, like Ukraine’s Operation Spider Web on June 1st, 2025, show just how close we came to catastrophe. Drone strikes deep in Russian territory were not aimed at Moscow—they were aimed at Washington, to corner Trump politically and sabotage peace. One misstep, one retaliatory strike, and the world could have burned.
The empire is betting humanity’s future on its survival. But history reminds us: empires always fall. The revolution is not history—it is our responsibility.”

Dzigbordi Kwaku-Dosoo (Host):
“Prime Minister, your words resonate deeply, and this is where Nichiren Daishonin’s teaching becomes so relevant. In On Reprimanding Hachiman, he wrote:
‘When great evil occurs, great good follows.’
Our faith is anchored in the conviction that even the darkest moments—nuclear brinkmanship, sabotage of nations, attempts to crush sovereignty—contain seeds of renewal, transformation, and awakening.
From this perspective, the empire’s desperation is actually a sign. The very crises that seem terrifying—the chaos, the interference, the existential threats—also signal that monumental change is possible. Trump’s movement, as chaotic as it may seem, forces the world to confront corruption, blind spots, and complacency.
In other words, the great evil of the empire’s interference opens the door to great good: a chance for nations to reclaim independence and for humanity to awaken to a higher purpose. It is a call to rise—to complete the unfinished revolution of 1776—not only in America, but across the world.
✨ When great evil occurs, great good follows. The shadow of the empire is long—but the dawn is breaking.”

Serwaa Amihere (Host):
“Powerful insights from both of you. For our readers worldwide, this is more than history or politics—it is a call to recognize our responsibility, individually and collectively, to safeguard sovereignty, justice, and freedom.Prime Minister Meloni, Dzigbordi, thank you for this unprecedented dialogue. La Amore Newsletter Magazine is honored to bring this to the world.
